I get that all the time in XP, though rarely in Eu programs.

I get it in Pegasus sometimes too, it hasto do with the app not taking a
breath while it is reading/writing files, and with Eu it seems the interpreter
is
not immediately closing include files during startup. It's *possible* to do this
in mirc the same way, accessing huge files in a short loop, same as Eu
interpreter and Pegasus do. The difference is, i have Pegasus on a drive
separate from other dense apps, and i can control mirc.
