A full-screen dos box and the desktop are paned. Try changing the refresh rate for the monitor. I believe the problem is present when you use low-cost video cards (Trident? Thats something to do with your screen not interpreting the codes correctly, from the screen card. Thats what I know and experienced. :) -- "LEVIATHAN" ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

John LeithRed Dagger I had the exact same problem, until I got a new video card. It still happens, but less severely. It's just how your monitor and video card display different resolutions... going from a low res. environment like a dos prompt to windows, at a far higher resolution, I guess something just gets lost. You have two choices...live with it, or purchase a $300 video card that only makes the problem a bit better =) Greg -- Greg Phillips i.shoot at rednecks.com http://euphoria.server101.com -- Useless fact of the day: The poison arrow frog has enough poison to kill about 2,200 people
