Thanks: they're changing the mail server today, so mail is probably
floating around out there somewhere...
If we can find where the slowups are, maybe we can do something to
speed them up.
The first 16" must be while the pc changes video modes. Is there any
thing we can do about that? The next 10 is (maybe) my program,
or Euphoria, or both, setting up stuff. I wonder why the pictures are so
slow - they are loaded into memory at startup, long before the first
graphics are drawn.
