I'll have to find a slow machine, so I can try some optimizations. Getting rid of the fancy screen background should speed it up a hair. If anyone is planning on using Dos32Lib to run code, I'd appreciate some feedback along the lines above, like "It's much to slow on the hardware I wanted to run to consider what I'd like to do", etc. > I just miss window handling aspects... The problem was that I didn't know what the buttons (min, max, close) were supposed to look like when they were pressed. The good news is that Sun has finally updated their Java Look and Feel page with examples of the buttons in their depressed state, so I can get around to coding them. Thanks! -- David Cuny
