We have setup a wiki webpage on Sourceforge: http://euallegro.sourceforge.net/ ... so anyone can contribute. Also, the full source is now hosted on Sourceforge in subversion: http://sourceforge.net/projects/euallegro ... letting anyone get involved with developing it if they wish. Only the joystick routines and some overview doco needs completing before a release will be ready. If anyone is interested let us know. Regards, Ray Smith http://RaymondSmith.com

You guys gonna work on the cross platform? Allegro is a cross-platform library, and Euphoria is a cross-platform language. Why not make the combo cross-platform, also? :)

Why not make the combo > cross-platform, also? :) Hi c.k. That's the long term plan. It isn't a priority for this upcoming release. I believe the only changes required to run on Linux is the loading of the DLL (shared lib) and writing some doco. I have installed Ubuntu 6.10 at home on an old PC so I can setup Allegro and Euphoria (but I have some other things I want to do before starting on that). Euallegro is fully open source and hosted on sourceforge ... so patches are very welcome ;) Regards, Ray Smith http://RaymondSmith.com

I'm very happy to hear that you guys are working on this. If you don't mind me asking, how far along are you in your progress to wrap Allegro?

Initially I was thinking of just hosting the zip file at sourceforge using their release manager. I can't think of any reason not to upload a copy to rapideuphoria.com as well???
