C.K., Actually, it turns out not to be a problem with spaces in the filename, it's the spaces in the DIRECTORY name that are the problem. I just tested it, & you can tell by the fact that the error message says something about can't find such and such a file, but it's not actually the demo filename, it's the pathname *up to* the space, with ".exw" added after it. I knew that spaces in the directory name was a problem for *viewing* demo code via WordPad, but I didn't know it was a problem for *running* them too.
