1. Independant tooltips

Hi,
I'm trying to display tooltips at a specified position on the screen
without the cursor having to hover over anything. I want a tooltip top
pop up just above the taskbar notification area when certain events
happen.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this? I'll probably just use my
own window to do it but it would probably be better if I could do it
properly using tooltips :)

2. Re: Independant tooltips

Thats an interesting question Thomas.

Have you thought about creating a tranparent button and simulating
mouseevents?

I know another way to do this, you'll need to create simulated tooltips.
If you want to do it this way let me know Ill send it private.
