This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_000E_01C1B583.696192B0 charset="us-ascii" When you remove the lines from your Autoexec.bat you should reboot. Also, if you have Windows XP you should check in the system properties for environment variables. Just right click on My Computer, choose Advanced and then click on Environment Variables. Remove any references to Euphoria in there too. If there is already a directory called Euphoria on the root of the drive then this may happen also. -----Original Message----- From: DavidWells at skippers.net [mailto:DavidWells at skippers.net] Sent: February 14, 2002 3:12 PM To: EUforum Subject: Install problems with Euphoria Help me please: &nbs p; I tried to install Euphoria on my PC and I get the message that Euphoria has already been installed. The kicker here for me is the program has not been installed on this PC.. A former co-worker had used Euphoria before to write some programs for our company. I took over his position. He left me a zip file of Euphoria along with the programs he wrote. I'm not sure what to do now. The install is straight forwarded. I've manually edit my autoexec.bat file to include the program in my path statement (C:\EUPHORIA\BIN) and the SET EUDIR=C:\EUPHORIA\BIN. I've searched my hard drive for Euphoria and the only thing I find is the zip Euphoria file. I've emptied my recycle bin, edited my autoexec.bat file removed any mention of Euphoria and I've started over with the same results. Any help would greatly appreciated. The message ... "You have already installed Euphoria." is issued if the installation program detects a copy of EXW.EXE. Use the Windows FIND FILE facitity (the Window-F key) and search for copies of exw.exe. 15/02/2002 10:14:15 AM, Elliott Sales de Andrade <quantum_analyst at hotmail.com> wrote: > > > To: EUforum <EUforum at topica.com> > > From: Elliott Sales de Andrade <quantum_analyst at hotmail.com> > Subject:RE: Install problems with Euphoria > Date: Thu, 14 Feb 2002 18:14:15 -0500 > > > > When you remove the lines from your Autoexec.bat you should reboot.
