Cyc also uses WordNet WOW!! Considering all the $millions that went into Cyc, i am *very* surprised any part of Cyc is going public!! On the other paw, it's not too surprising considering Lenat's lack of success with pre-Cyc projects. He has never, to my knowledge, reached a publicly stated Ai goal. At least open source might get him more help. I noticed the email list archives on sourceforge are empty, what's up with that? Is there really no interest in Cyc? And why is there so much Java in the opencyc code? Kat
