1. SNMP WRapper

Being a hardware / systems /network engineer, my expertise obviously is not in software. However, after years of programming ( OK scripting ) in Rexx / Perl , I found EUPHORIA and its great. My main use is in network management progs for my techs. Thus far, all is well, and the only thing I'm missing from EU is ( like every one else ) multiple treads ( which I can work around ) and a SNMP library. After viewing some SNMP DLL's and API's ( Winsnmp, net-snmp, ucd snmp ) and the example code fro doing a simple SNMP GET, I've decided that I would ask the many qualified programmers out there if anyone has heard of / or can gen up a simple SNMP EU Library for doing SNMP stuff. I use SNMP command line ( like the ucd-snmpget.exe ) for retrieving data I need from equipment. I supply the IP address and complete decimal OID ( no mibs, or other stuff for my work is necessary nor wanted.... I know the OID and thats that ) I am interested mostly in the ability to do a SNMP GET, and have the info returned and then the rest is up to me. Anyone have any insight or suggestions ? Thanks , Michael

I am going to write some networking monitoring tool, so I'd appreciate SNMP wrapper too. Anyone willing ? The wrapper could recieve my MicroEconomy votes Martin

I'm working on one. It will probably take a while though, as this is my first real, major undertaking with Euphoria and wrappers. My efforts so far (most functions in wsnmp.dll linked, a few returning successfully) seem to be going fairly smoothly.
