Is there an ftp site where I can go and download all the contribution files at one time versus selecting them one at a time from the http site ...

A zipped copy of all the contributions would be nice and convenient. Lucius L. In any case they aren't all stored on one server. Do you really want all 500 files? Greg Phillips was planning to make a CD of the site. Yes I would want all 500 files ... I would pay for a CD of all the files on a CD at some regular interval ... 4 times a year .. I do that now for linux ... Euphoria is the best link yet between the worlds of Linux and Windows .. I love programming in both worlds ... roc On Wed, 20 Oct 1999 12:24:18 -0400 Robert Craig <rds at ATTCANADA.NET> writes: > Rochester Payne writes: > > Is there an ftp site where I can go > > and download all the contribution > > files at one time versus selecting them > > one at a time from the http site > > I don't know of any way that you can > grab all the files at once. Sure am. I've got most of the contributions downloaded, I can finish them up and send them to whoever wants them. I'm waiting to get my cable modem, though. I expect the complete contributions as a zip would be fairly large. Probably anyone who has to pay by the minute for downloads would also. I don't think much of the HUGE zip file. Too much chance of corruption during the dl, and wasted time. Regards, Irv

Hello everyone, I'm Mark Carr, neophyte programmer, having a blast learning Euphoria. Greg, I agree with Irv, I'd be willing to pay for a cd of the archive, especially if it contained all the tutorials and documentation to date. It's so inconvenient to be working through a tutorial and then realize you don't have a file and have to stop, sign on again, find it, download it upzip etc.. One cd? Wow! How about one master cd; and then annual or semi-annual updates with the latest docs, tutorials, contributions..etc. Just tell me when and how much. ----- Original Message ----- From: Irv Mullins <irv at ELLIJAY.COM> To: <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> Sent: Thursday, October 21, 1999 5:06 AM Subject: Re: ftp...s > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Greg Phillips <i.shoot at REDNECKS.COM> > To: <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> > Sent: Wednesday, October 20, 1999 8:19 PM > Subject: Re: ftp...s > > > > Sure am. I have not seen anyone say anything about also have'n back versions of a program on the cd also..I have found it hard to find old versions in case they are needed.
