In the beta version there is a new function which is (currently) called "Code Publisher". This simply creates a file, (backup/cp.htm) and displays it in the browser, eg for printing. Hopefully this will finally address ths issue. However, please don't use 0.2.8 for any serious work as it is rather unstable. Instead, if you could install it in a temp directory and test this feature, that would be great. Thanks, Pete

Epson Dot Matrix 1050 (for my programs) The good news is that it is not just you. The bad news is that printing from Edita was always flaky, and got worse when I lost 3 printers in one go during a storm (which my two PCs survived) and I've just never bothered (2+ years now) to even look for a replacement. [Never really understood how my Epsom, which was not even plugged in, got trashed, but it really did go dead as a dodo same day.] Worse, the print part of Edita is not open source (a long and boring story involving legal contracts). You or anyone else are welcome to write an open source print replacement, but as above, I cannot. See PS. I have been told about a dozen times about how trivial it would be, however no-one has ever stepped up to the plate as it were. Regards and apologies, Pete PS. I felt that paragraph was getting out of hand. I really doubt this applies to you but I want to say it anyway. The only stipulation I have is that whatever existing (even if non-working for you) code must be left in place and available. You are free to add a checkbox somewhere in Options to hide the (old-style/non-working) print menu entries if you wish. Obviously you are free to make any mod you like for personal use. What you and anyone else may not do is cut out existing functionality and redistribute.
