Hello CChris, Thanks for your time. Tried use_vesa(1) to no avail ! Since you have font.ex Could you change the mode 19 to ...... 18. in line 188 , 187, thereabouts. This is the error I get. C:\FONT(2)\FONT.EX:115 in procedure set_fire_palette() subscript value 129 is out of bounds, assigning to a sequence of length 16 i = 1 i = <no value> ... called from C:\FONT(2)\FONT.EX:190 in procedure burn() i = <no value> ... called from C:\FONT(2)\FONT.EX:853 And as you know my capabilities (very few)... this makes little sense to me. That is ... I don't know how to rectify !! Tried new resolutions. Even another monitor. The point is ... last week "it" worked. sincerely , les.r.

In the meantime, if you could figure out what you might have changed, albeit unwittingly, in your system since last week, reporting it would certainly help. CChris

The error you got could only occur at line 110, not 115. Try restoring your files from the original archive, or downloading them again from RDS. Video mode 18 won't work at all, as it allows for 16 colors only. It looks like the code was modified and unintended mods were saved. CChris
