does anybody now how to open/save and Avi movie file? I want to write a =
program that will be able to open and save avi's. any help would be very =
good.

WotSit has a web site with dozens and dozens of file formats from word
documents, zip files, jpg, gif and if I remember avi.
Anyone interested in anything to do with file formats should check it out.
