First, congratulations to everybody associated with Euphoria. I have only been using it for a short time but I think it's superb. Next, probably stupid question. Why does a thin multi-coloured line keep appearing underneath Windows menus in Win32Lib IDE. Its there in the IDE menu itself and then appears in the applications I build. I am running on Windows XP Home Edition on a Sony VAIO with a Sony 1024 x 768 flat screen diplay. Any ideas please.

Any ideas please. How is this line multi-colored? like a rainbow gradient? or like line of different colors stacked on top of each other? I'm using Windows XP Pro and didn't see a any difference between *my* programs and Windows' own programs. Are you using the XP style (Playskool) or the classic style? The only thing I see under the menu is a shadow. Perhaps you could get us a screens shot? ~Greg g.haberek at comcast.net PS: Happy Easter Everyone!

Perhaps this is caused by your video card? It doubt it though, since you're only getting this on Euphoria-based projects. Now could this be a Win32Lib-based problem? Try downloading Euman's EFFM (Euphoria Free File Manager) since it uses direct API calls. If that eliminates the problem then we can narrow it down to Win32Lib, if not, then it may be the interpreter.

If you are running Euphoria as a 3.1 program, you might see that line. Don't know if it is 3.1? If you are using Euphoria 2.4 and didn't run exw31.exe then you are not. If you are using 2.3 and didn't convert it with a RDS program, you probably are.

This happens because you are using exw.exe 3.0. You have to convert your exw.exe to a 4.0 executable or simply download euphoria 2.4. which is already a 2.4 app Jordah > from: Greg Haberek <g.haberek at comcast.net> > date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 18:57:03 > to: EUforum at topica.com > subject: Re: Windows Menus > > > description. The line is like a single pixel width interrupted line under > > the menu in various colours.
