Thanks for the correction. Now a days Apache is the defacto web server for
*nix machines, but a "eg" is far more accurate ;)

In fact inetd stands for Internet Daemon, and it may spwan other services
besides a web server... and just too new to Linux to answer correclty.

David, what version of KDE are you using? I just installed SuSE 6.0 (KDE
1.0) and looks great. What packeges do you use (Pete too) for Linux
development? (besides GCC). And does anyone have some link where the
diference between a.out (I used that on my college's Alpha+Digital Unix)
and ELF, and libc and glibc? I'm starting to abandon Wintel architecture...
