Well, I was waiting to hear back from Kat, but I guess I'll go ahead and
announce that I've already written an include file implementing these
functions in Euphoria. I'm still hoping to get some suggestions/ideas for
improvements from Kat; but, if there is enough interest, I can post it to
the list as-is.
