Hiyas, For the people that may be interested, I just wanted y'all to know the current progress of Exotica and Morfit. Exotica - A DirectX Game programming library for Euphoria: (at http://exotica.iwarp.com) I'm still working at it. The DirectPlay and the Direct3D (basics) functions are almost done. I have a 3D demo made with Exotica and Euphoria in exe form downloadable in my Exotica Section at my website if you want to take a look at my progress on that. It just shows a rotating textured cube done with Direct3D Immediate mode, a tiled background and FPS graphics done with DirectDraw which demostrates that you will be able to use all the regular graphic functions while using Direct3D. Since I'm introducing DirectPlay and Direct3D into Exotica, the next version of Exotica will be 2.0 and will be available here, hopefully, soon. [ Note: If anybody downloads the 3D demo I have, if you could, please let me know how it ran on your system and what type of video card you have. Also, if you get errors, please tell me what happened and send me the e_report.txt file it produces in order to give me some idea what may be going on. Thanks.] Morfit 3D - 3D engine Library plus a Euphoria API to use it: Mark Brown and I have basically completed an API to use the Morfit 3D Dll. It hasn't been %100 tested though. We will be releasing it once the people at Morfit(http:\\www.morfit.com) gives me access to upload the Euphoria version to thier website. It does come with examples that uses David Cuny's Win32Lib which is the perfect Euphoria tool in letting Morfit do what it does best in my humble opinion. The only problem is that it doesn't have documentation of the Morfit Euphoria API yet. In releasing it here soon, we hope that other people will get involved and help us out by finding any bugs and even write more examples to show off Morfit in Euphoria to be released in future versions. Also, for people that don't know, if you complete a Morfit program, you have the option of releasing it to Morfit were they distrubute your game for you to make money with. The only drawback, I think, is that Morfit has it were they project graphical ads into your 3D game. But never-the-less, it's possible to make money with your creation. Welp, that's it for now. -- Todd Riggins
