Hi all,
thanks to all for the good recommendations. In this urgent case the
problem was solved by use of a bootable WinNT installation CD. Only this
shows all existing NTFS partitions and asks where to install NT. We
installed a new NT on the second partition and used this to delete the
bad driver from the first (original) NT partition. After this we could
boot the original NT again.
May be we have to by an utility to rename any file on NTFS partitions
from a bootable DOS floppy, it would be faster and easier!
