Ah, do I have just the thing for you, and it is free. It is a beta and still a
little flakey, but did I ever get a shock when I first enabled it and got to see
the
number of probes aimed my way in a single day. It is called Zone Alarm, and
their web site is http://www.zonelabs.com/. The way I found out about it is
thru Steve Gibson, the guy who wrote SpinRite...the only program that I
know that can reformat just about any drive including IDE's at low level
without damaging data or sending them back to the factory. If you are
interested in things like that, he can be found at http://grc.com/default.htm
His products are tiny and powerful and all in assembler. He also has a
piece of freeware and a free service called Shields-Up that will probe your
logon and tell you what appears to be open to attack on your site.
