Will eu linux 2.3 support accessing the screen w/ ncurses? I have a library to fix this, but it's very inconviniant to always use it to get basic io. jbrown105 -- Linux User:190064 Linux Machine:84163 http://jbrown105.1avenue.com

Yes, Euphoria uses ncurses now - in fact, you can't avoid using it. All the print and put functions call ncurses routines, as do the text-color and bk-color. You can't at present read from the screen into Euphoria, as far as I know. Regards, Irv

Oops. meant to say w/out ncurses. I already knew about the current situation conserning euphoria and ncurses. I know how to bypass eu and write to the screen, i just wanted to see if my io.e library would be obsolete in 2.3. > > Yes, Euphoria uses ncurses now - in fact, you can't avoid using > it.
