might be a way to solve my friends list back-up problems. Got a few
other ideas too, Anyone know what X10 home automation is?? =)
It would be nice to be at my sisters and tell my computer to turn on the
lamp, or tv, or start recording that tv show i want(no TiVo im my area

ACK!!!!! You want to let your home automation rely on a MS OS?!?
Windows??? <blink> Sheesh, i wouldn't put anything important on it, not
even turning on the vcr! I can just picture it: late at nigh, no moon, you are
in
the hallway, the vcr is recording something important, and windoze decides it
need a reboot, shutting off the lights and the vcr...
