I just got the error message saying that my program is over
300 lines!

Hi,
I had a quick look at your program, and the error is easy to
recognize, you're trying to display the star number out of the screen,
just make sure that X and Y in position don't reach a number lower than
1 or bigger than the maximum col or line allowed by the current
resolution.
