Hello I put some data in sorted list. Now I would like to delete one of the element in list. I try, but does not work. Where is the problem? procedure onClick_deleteoneelement count >= getCount(list1) if count > 0 then pos = getIndex(list1) deleteItem(list1, pos) end if end procedure It gives me an SYNTAX ERROR at deleteItem! I try "erase" statement, but delete all data in list - not good for me! Bets regards, Frank

Hi Frank, the deleteItem() routine is a funtion. It must return something to your program. Try this instead... object VOID procedure onClick_deleteoneelement count >= getCount(list1) if count > 0 then pos = getIndex(list1) VOID = deleteItem(list1, pos) end if end procedure ------ Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia "To finish a job quickly, go slower." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank" <sekret7 at hotmail.com> To: "EUforum" <EUforum at topica.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 13, 2001 12:46 AM Subject: deleteItem problem ! > > > Hello > > I put some data in sorted list. > Now I would like to delete one of the element in list. > I try, but does not work. > Where is the problem? > > > procedure onClick_deleteoneelement > count >= getCount(list1) > if count > 0 then > pos = getIndex(list1) > deleteItem(list1, pos) > end if > end procedure > > It gives me an SYNTAX ERROR at deleteItem! > > > I try "erase" statement, but delete all data in list > - not good for me! > > > Bets regards, Frank > > > >
