Hi,
My web site at www.geocities.com/ray_223 seems to be up again but I don't
know
for how long.
The problem was an apparent "Terms of Service Violation" which I'm still
trying
to resolve.
A Rule in the terms of service states you cannot ... "5(o) use your home
page
(or directory) as storage for remote loading or as a door or signpost to
another
home page, whether inside or beyond Yahoo GeoCities; "
My page is just an index.html linked to a few zip files of software I have
written.
Possibly this is a Violation of the TOS????
I have noticed a few geocities web sites are down and wonder if this is the
case
for others as well.
Does anyone have any info on this????
Emails to Geocities usually take more than a week to answered and give me
generic
responces straight from web sites.

I am having no problem with my page itself; I can access it and download a
ZIP file. But I had a little problem with my password (I admit it was caused
by me), and communicating with Yahoo! is troublesome.

Most won't allow mentioning a proxy either, because they can be used to
filter advertising, and that's messing with their income. Does anyone know of
a hosting company where i can put up such filters, and other Eu code?
