1. Creating .WAV files

I know that this is a little off topic but it does relate to Euphoria: Is there anyway to create a .wav file other than combining existing files or recording using a microphone or cd player? For instance could one take sound bites off of a cd rom in the computer's disk drive? thanks David S

If you just want to extract sounds from a cd then use a ripper, I believe Irv has already pointed out a Linux one but if you using windows then check out MusicMatch Jukebox (www.musicmatch.com).
