1. Pricing Euphoria 2.4 (to Rob)

Rob,

To help me (and perhaps others) determine whether I want to upgrade, I'd
like to understand the pricing of future releases.

Now that the source is available, I'm thinking that the next version
(2.4) might have some real goodies. I purchased version 2.1, got my
free upgrade to 2.2, now I can upgrade to 2.3 at the reduced price.

So what happens when 2.4 comes out? Do I get a free upgrade, pay a
reduced price upgrade, or would it be time to pay full price again? Or
is it all up in the air at this point?

Thanks,
-- Brian

You can upgrade the interpreter now for $24.
You'll get both the WIN32+DOS32 *and* the Linux version.
You'll be guaranteed a free interpreter upgrade for 12 months,
but in the past I've always ended up extending the free upgrade
period. In the worst case, as a registered user,
you'll still get a $15 discount on your next, and all subsequent upgrades
of whatever product you own. After each upgrade that you pay
for, you get another 12 months of free upgrades. You never have
to pay the full price again for a product after registering once.
There are now 3 separate products: interpreter, translator
and source code.

Bottom line: if "2.4" comes out within 12 months you'll get it free,
or you might even get it free beyond that period. Otherwise it will be
$15 off normal price.
