I recently decided to get back into IRC, and I had a quick look round
Sorcery.net but couldn't see it.

It's not hidden, but if you are looking for it in the channel listings, and no
one is in it, it
won't show. Irc channels are made when someone enters them, not before,, then
they
are added to the listing of occupied rooms. Since the channel wasn't being used,
