1. Irv - has eugtk1.2 gone the way of the hobbits at the end of the film?

Hi Irv

Tried to find and download the latest version of eugtk1.2 today (saw there
had been some changes on the list but hadn't downloaded it)

Can't find it.

Have you finally decided to let RIP? Shame, my work computer can only
cope with gtk 1.x, tried upgrading to gtk2.x, but got bogged down in
dependencies, so gave up.

If anyone does have a copy of the latest eugtk1.x kit, could you please
email it to me? It still has life in it as far as I'm concerned.

before you say anything, I do use the eugtk 2.x kit at home, on windows and
linux.

Cheers

Chris

You should be able to download it here:
http://ellijay.com/users/irvm/EuGTK-1.2.0.tar.gz

I was hoping to do a backwards port of the current EuGTK to use GTK 1.2,
because the new architecture is a lot cleaner. That might still happen.
But there is also GTK 2.5 coming out 'any day now', with lots of improvements,
so I may be busy with that instead.

You should be able to download it here:

You'll need different docs, too: http://ellijay.com/users/irvm/docs.html

If you think it would actually be useful, I can work on that.
It probably wouldn't take too long.

As suggested, useful for those 'smaller' Linux distros that can still run on
older minimal hardware.
