1. Win32lib download stats (for Derek)

Hi Derek,
do you keep stats on the number of downloads of your win32lib?
It would be a fair indication of how many Eu (windows) users we have
be they PD or licenced users.

No I don't. I wouldn't know how to do that. Any ideas (anyone)?

Yes, and you already have it available. Use Sourceforge. They keep
all kinds of stats.

Just for the record, I'm not trying to say anybody else's windows wrapper
efforts are wasted!

I like the concept of SourceForge, but its not as easy to use as my own
web site. Uploading a new release is quite an effort in comparision. Also,
some people find SourceForge a bit slow to use.

I'll have a go at uploading the new release to source forge tomorrow.

Got one: all ready to go. just notify me when a new version of Win32lib is
out.
For the download link (for the full version of Win32Lib) change it to:
http://www.downloadcounter.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?username=icxcnika&account=1

To show the download stats, insert:
<script LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.1"
SRC="http://downloadcounter.com/cgi-bin/getdownloadsjs.pl?username=icxcnika&
account=1">
</script>
where you want it to appear.

Glad to help
