1. exwc.exe and bind

I understand the shroud and the bind processes. I recently made exwc.exe using the makecon.exw script. By my personal convention, I use .exc as the extension for scripts to use with exwc.exe. I have added appropriate entries in the windows registry (wherever I could find entries for .ex and .exw and for EUDosApp and EUConApp, that is, whereever I could find existing Euphoria registry entries). I am using Windows XP. I have searched and cannot find information on one point. When I do a bind, will my resulting exe file be bound to a console version of an Euphoria executable? Terry Constant

No, it will be bound to the standard Public Domain exw.exe (for GUI apps). To convert a bound .exe into a console app, try "Set Subsystem Type" by Jeremy Collake in the file archive. Thanks for the response. I will look into the set subsystem type. That had been the only relevant thing that I had found, but was a bit unclear. I hoped things had been made a bit easier since Collake had done his work. Again, thanks. Terry Constant
