The program seems to work OK-ish, I can confirm that -=3D work fine, F11
so, but F12 writes over the play area when keyed enough. Took me a
while to work out use of qxzyr at all, the letters on the cards are
not so clear (ditto , ,./;'). 123 I now sort of understand, lrb and F8
not at all. When I press Enter and it does something (after all five
cards picked) it is not clear to me what is going on. I am obviously
at a disadvantage never having heard of RoboRally let alone played it.

Cards with higher values are played first succeeds in making the game
so fiendishly complex as to be unplayable. I may be missing something
but I suspect that element of chance in board games does not translate
well (or at all) to single player pc games.

Having key_commands.txt separate from the main game is a bad idea.
Demo, introductory, learning mode stuff might help.
