1. RDS and WxWindows

so..... if a WxWindows wrapper is implemented for
Euphoria, I take it Win32lib as well as Irv's GTK
wrapper would be rendered redundant?

I don't mess arround much with GUI's, but Irv's GTK
wrapper strikes me as incredibly easy to use - Would
WxWindows for Euphoria be as easy to employ?

Since it appears that such a high degree of expertise
in C & C++, not to mention familiarity with the
euphoria source code, wouldn't it behoove RDS to wrap
WxWindows for Euphoria?

How about it Robert? Whats your take on all this?

Only if that wrapper included "plug-in" replacements for EuGTK and
Win32Lib.

Of course, there is no reason that Derek and Irv cant simply rewrite the libs
to use wxWindows instead of WinAPI or GTK.

That depends on what the author codes. If only bare wxWindows was wrapped,
my guess is that it'd look a bit like raw GTK.

Perhaps... good luck convicing him tho.

I'm very willing to assist with technical knowledge,
or by putting hooks into the interpreter, but I won't be
the lead person on a WxWindows project. I want to
concentrate on central things that I am better suited to work on,
and leave add-on GUI libraries etc. to other people.
David Cuny and many others have the Euphoria interpreter source
(minus a few bits that aren't relevant to WxWindows.), so
I'm not sitting on any critical informaton.
