Hi all. There's been so much time since I contributed a program, that now I don't know how to submit it. I understand there is a new procedure to that end. Will some of you explain it to me? TIA.

Then go to http://www.rapideuphoria.com/cgi-bin/usercont.exu?dbId=new This will ask you to log in to RDS. If you haven't a user-id and Password yet, you can also get one from this form. Once logged in, you will be presented with a form for you to fill in with the submission details. Its pretty straight-forward. You either upload a file OR supply a URL (and filesize) for a file that can be downloaded by people. -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia

The one that I have already complained about not being able to change to something sensible. I suspect so. and if so, Then I won't be submitting anything new anytime soon. unkmar

Guess you could just keep trying until a good one comes along :) Irv

You could use a decent browser that gives you exact control over who to accept cookies from. For example Opera allows you to fine tune such things; you can even edit the cookies from within the browser.

I use a decent browser. As I stated before. I use multiple computers. I sometimes use public computers. Don't want cookies floating around there. I also have multiple users per computer I use. Mainly, I don't want to rely on cookies to remember my passwords. I have too many passwords as it is. Your argument is the very reason that Gator and friends are so popular. Welcome to the world of spyware, adware and many other evil entities that proclaim to only assist you. Assist alright, assist you right out of your money and privacy. unkmar - rant on Oops that is suppose to be rock on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Derek Parnell" <guest at RapidEuphoria.com> To: <EUforum at topica.com> Sent: Monday, July 05, 2004 12:25 PM Subject: Re: How to submit a contributed program > > > posted by: Derek Parnell <ddparnell at bigpond.com> > > Unkmar wrote: > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Derek Parnell" > > Sent: Monday, July 05, 2004 12:26 AM > > Subject: Re: How to submit a contributed program > > > > > posted by: Derek Parnell > > > > > > Ricardo M. If you forget your auto-assigned password, get a new one by pressing the button. It is near-immediate, and hassle-free. I think Rob and Junko have done a very, very good job here. >> > From: "Derek Parnell" >> > > Its pretty straight-forward. Understatement. >> I guess you're scared about using browser cookies. Maybe if I used cookies (which I don't), or maybe if I had a better memory than a goldfish (which I don't it would be *even* easier. Can't imagine how, though. </rant> Pete
