Aeergh! Jarod! Damn, that library don't work for jack! Every example I tried running, froze my computer immediatly. And even so, it's not realy a good endeavor writing such a library. A person like Mic could do us all a favor and code a multiplatform 3D library instead. Something like his own DX, with sound, input, graphics, etc. but then multiplatform. Mike The Spike

> Just want to know if mic is still working on jarod? Yes. Well, I will a soon as I get a new monitor anyway. >I've been playing a lot with it and I added mod and wav support on the DOS >version. Wow. Sounds great.. >Do u have any plan on releasing a new version or something? Yes. I have already added automatic bitdepth-detection (fixes the problem with 15/16-bit modes). I also have plans for sprite-rotation, faster alpha-blending and perhaps some various filters (to produce cool-looking still images). >I made a quick look on the readme and couldn't find mic's mail, does anyone >have it? It's located at the very bottom of the ReadMe. Anyways, my mail address is stabmaster_ at hotmail.com. ========== Complaints from Mike the spike ========== >Every example I tried running, froze my computer >immediatly. Not my fault. It's worked on every computer I've tested it on, so there's probably something strange going on with your computer. >And even so, it's not realy a good endeavor writing >such a library. I just work on it out of personal interest, I don't care if everyone else finds it useless. >A person like Mic could do us all a favor and code a >multiplatform 3D library instead. Why?? It would be too much effort, and I would never reach the standard of the other multi-platform media libraries anyway. Want a good multi-platform media library? Go to http://www.clanlib.org (prepare to do some C++ coding though).
