Did you first try using 'system()' and 'system_exec()'
built into Euphoria?

I thought that this was the original behavior of shellExecute in win32lib,
but now I can't figure out how that worked.  Does anyone have any records of
that thread?  I don't think that RDS has the archives of the old listserv up
yet, or I'd search that.
