What other language will you use that will even give you error report
like in EU? Not many out there..
The 300 line limit is an incentive for you to BUY the product.. Spend
the $50 and get it!! For the sake of the price of one video game, you
can get rid of the limit and gain other features as well..
I never even use the error reports from EU anyways.. It's much more
accurate and easier to understand if you debug it yourself..
Your code doesn't work? Add print statements .. systematically of
course..
Like this.. after every so many program statements, add this..
"? "Here"
It's usually better to use numbers though, instead of just "Here"
If you have alot of the debug prints in your code, how will you know
which one is executing and which one is failing, if they all print the
same thing?
Do this..
(a bunch of euphoria code)
? "1"
(more code)
? "2"
(more code)
etc..
etc..
In windows, it's probably easier to make it print to file rather than
the screen..
Then you have a record of what is happening, so you can refer to it
later.
