1. Four weddings and a funeral...

Missed me? *sigh* My father died the 1st of march... After 1.5 years of supreme suffering, he whent silently in the cold dark night... The priest cursing in sorrow, our familly broken, forever ... MTS was no more... Untill I had a dream showing I should keep on working after all, as my father would be proud of me. I'm back... MTS always used to be visioned with TJ Demon, his girly friend... Untill we seperated, and then that "working girl" Anya was my bride... Now, I'm dating her best friend, who in turn, wants to come over tomorrow... But Anya is comming over tomorrow too, so uh... catfight? Status Report: Name: Anya Mevis Age: 27 Status: Divorced Job: Female Escort Children: 5 year old male twin; Brian (after Adams) and Jason (after Priestley?) Name: An "Fanny" Kristel Age: 28 Status: Married Job: Unemployed Children: 7 month old girl; Shania (after Twain) and 2.5 year old girl Kelly (after R.) I'm going for Fanny, nonetheless... I love her, and would have married her yesterday if she was divorced. The kids are sweet and cute, little angels, unlike the two devils, who call their mom "whore" and beat her, Anya has. MTS is good with kids; always joking around, and hey, I'm MTS. Besides, go search through Belgium after four kids that have American names, you won't find many. And MTS is called MTS even in Belgium. Only familly and close friends call me by my real name (for them I'm not The Spike, for when they touch me, no one gets hurt). I'm Michele for them, derived from Mi Kael, aka 'Who Is Like God', ie. loving and protecting the weak and innocent. (Tip: The Bible says Jesus' name at the second comming will be Mi Kael, AKA Michele. So it's a cool name! Thanks pappa, for giving me your name by just being there ...) Belgian dudes and dudettes, come to Limburg to pay your respects. MTS will guide you to the cemetary. For once, when you're still alive ;) My father always liked the people I hung out with ... err... Let's talk Euphoria for a second ... Does anyone have a routine wich draws a particle at x,y,z? like 'p3d(c,x,y,z)' or something simmiliar. Like the particles used in Quake I and II wich represent blood drops and dust. You know, a colored square wich can be placed on the screen at a 3D position ... That's all ... Some news ... I rebooted my projects after a leave of absence... But a dark, forgotten memory of a dream I had ust before my father whent, pointed me to a new projects, wich, for respect, I will do first and foremost. It's an easy proect, but you will hear it on the news, read about it in the paper, and even see it on talk shows... The shear guts it takes to publish somthing like that on the net will give 1/3rd of the lion population an instant heart attack.* * for you dumb people out there, I'm just saying it's very risky to do such a thing. Napster? Pff... a toy... Duke Nukem? Haha! ... a kiddie game ... This thing... PURE INTERNATIONAL HOLOCAUSTIC CHAOS ENGINE! It's gonna be done in Euphoria, IF, I A. Get that particle routine B. or get a copy of Exotica that actually works Exotica halting with an 'DD_INIT' or 'DDram is out of memory!!' and stuff like that ain't ideal, ya know? All I cna do is draw some small BMPs, everything else don't work, Direct Input always fails, DDraw runs out of memory every two seconds, etc. I need to do some 3D GFX and networking, that's all. Dilema; - I can use Mic's poly fillers, but should port them to Winblows if I want networking - I can use Exotica, with networking, under windows, if only it worked Or, offcourse, I could use that particle routine to do some cool 3D effects. Hmm... TODD!!! MIC!!! Mike The Spike

You don't want to draw every single particle like this (at least not if you have a lot of particles). You could of course let p3d() place the parameters in a buffer wich is processed with a single call, like transform_and_render_particles() or whatever. >Dilema; >- I can use Mic's poly fillers, but should port them >to Winblows if I want networking Erm.. my polygon fillers works a-ok under windows. In fact, they would work on any 486+ machine given that the OS provides a linear memory-layout. Although, atm you only have the choise of DOS, Windows and Linux since these are the OS:s that Euphoria supports.
