------=_NextPart_000_00F3_01C0A334.D4A1E320 charset="iso-8859-1" I'm interested in the compatibility of EUPHORIA running in WinME. I've had problems running it in WinNT and Win2K Pro, but WinME is = supposed to be upgraded Win98, so I don't expect it would have problems. Look for Windows XP later this year. XP promises NT stability, and 98 compatibility. .I might actually buy it. On a side note, MS is touting XP as a "Media OS".. which is what BeOS has been called.. later, -Humberto

Howdy! Just got a machine with ME last week. I had no problems, except for setting the PATH and EUDIR. I found that the autoexec.bat file *is* in the root directory; however, unlike the other Windows, it's hidden. So you'll have to snoop around a little. Oh, and I installed it manually when I was moving my files off of what is now the wife's machine. That might make a difference. Happy Hunting, Travis Beaty Claude, Texas.

I wouldn't place much trust in XP's NT background, hackers say the NT stands for Nice Try, and they look for NT servers to break into first. Keep in mind MS has admitted they installed a trojan in WinXP, alledgedly so they can help you with debugging it remotely. That really doesn't invoke much confidence in me, that they went to extra trouble to make it easier on them to fix it after you buy it. As with all MS OSs other than dos, run it behind a firewall if you put it online. Kat
