FYI, I have a software package of about 200+ programs and recently had a customer running Vista. I had 2 small control files that had been in the root of "C" drive which vista will not allow. After moving them to a sub dir the entire package ran w/o any problems. I'm using EU 2.3 and Win32 59.1 and Matt's odbc.e

It's been a while now since i used Vista, but i remember some of the directories are not made accessable to the user unless that setting is changed to allow it. On the other hand, if it *is* changed the 'security' (as if there was such a thing with an MS product) level would not be as high. Take care, Al E boa sorte com sua programacao Euphoria! I googled that problem and basically found that it was a pain in the rear to try to do it. Everyone that tried to do it had gotten frustrated and gave up
