1. Euphoria (and Daniel Berstein) to the rescue! (anecdotal post)
At work I am regarded as the resident computer nerd, so when a co-worker's
ancient inventory management program suddenly ceased functioning, I was
called to get it working again.
Well the problem turned out to be a corrupted binary, with no back-up
available. Looking through the directory, I noticed that the data files
were stored in standard .dbf (dBase) format. A quick d/l of Euphoria and
Daniel Berstein's .dbf routines and an afternoon or coding, and my
co-worker is now happier with the Euphoria based program than she was with
the original!
Thanks, Euphoria!
Thanks, Daniel!

First real life situation someone has used them!!!! (not even me)
I'm glad they work for you!
If you've only seen the new version (before I lost it in my "accident")
you'll be hired by Microsoft ;)

Actually, I just noticed that the version on your home page is newer than
the one on the Euphoria homepage. More features! Great! :)
Thanks again!
