1. Euphoria (and Daniel Berstein) to the rescue! (anecdotal post)

At work I am regarded as the resident computer nerd, so when a co-worker's ancient inventory management program suddenly ceased functioning, I was called to get it working again. Well the problem turned out to be a corrupted binary, with no back-up available. Looking through the directory, I noticed that the data files were stored in standard .dbf (dBase) format. A quick d/l of Euphoria and Daniel Berstein's .dbf routines and an afternoon or coding, and my co-worker is now happier with the Euphoria based program than she was with the original! Thanks, Euphoria! Thanks, Daniel! __ Snowgen snowgen at wf.net http://www.wf.net/~snowgen/

If you've only seen the new version (before I lost it in my "accident") you'll be hired by Microsoft ;) Regards, Daniel Berstein

More features! Great! :) Thanks again!
