It maybe time for a new contest. Some may remember the one I managed some time ago; it seemed to appeal to quite a few people. I've had some new thoughts about a simple contest so if there is a mood to have another go, let me know and I'll set it up. Suggested Tasks: (a) Implemented a new 'board' game (I have the rules). (b) Modes of play (any combination of) ... Person vs Person Person vs program program vs program (not necessarily your own) (c) Prizes for ... * Smallest algorithm implementation (excludes fluff and I/O lines) * Most successful (program vs program) * Viewers selection for most elegant. The 'program vs program' section is where your program would play against other people's programs in a tournement. There will be opportunity for you to submit any number of programs as I'll run daily tournements and post the results during the contest period. This will give you feedback on your program's success or otherwise, so you can tweak it as needed. I expect once opened, I'll run it for a month. Prizes yet to be decided but they will be worthwhile -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia Skype name: derek.j.parnell

This is what i've been doing: http://206.113.66.9/driller_pics/driller1.html Besides cutting up a car with a torch, for parts and scrap metal money. Cutting up 2, maybe 3 more. Not much money, but i can sure use the parts, there's stalled projects awaiting them. Kat

I did enjoy http://www.cyty.com/robocom/?area=main so I assume I'd have some nice time with an Euphoria based board game. Rgds, Salix

Regards.
