1. Eu300 .exw files bigger than Eu24 ?

Hi there,

One of the nice things about getting Eu300 is that now i can bind
all of my exw programs so that they open (what looks to be) just
as fast as using my old Eu24 interpreter. What i noticed though
is that the Eu300 programs are bigger than Eu24 programs. For one
program that was 191k under Eu24 bindw is now 261k under Eu300.
Does this sound normal?

Also, how could i build everything with Watcom?

Also, how to bind a new Windows interpreter with Watcom?

TIA...

Take care,
Al

I have no answers :( (and it doesn't worry me at all)

The exw.exe has grown from 102kb in Eu 2.5 to 327kb in Eu 3.0.

Possibly this has to do with the architecture of Eu?
(i.e. large chunks being written in Euphoria instead of all C based??)

Maybe Robert decided not to use pointless executable compression this time. For
this we save memory while the program is executing and program startup time is
slightly improved.
