As far as I'm aware EuGTK was being maintained by Irv Mullins who abandoned
Euphoria some time ago. I don't think anyone else picked up the baton on that
one, but I could be wrong.

Mike Sabal expressed an interest in maintaining
EuGTK a while back. He is listed as a developer
on the Source Forge page:

I see, well that sucks since GTK is a widely used GUI toolkit

why would he abandon ? this language needs people like him.

5. Re: EuGTK && OpenSource

I don't know how up to date euGTK is but I find it stable and very useful. I
mostly use it on my Zaurus and curiously, some things require tiny changes.
For example, there is a demo which has a slider. If you move the slider to
zero, the program crashes on my Z but not on the PC. I set a lower bound
which is a really small fraction and that fixes it. Something to do with gtk
versions perhaps (or something to do with my hacked version of the eu
source)?

Anyway, I like and use what Irv did. As an infrequent reader of the list, I
hadn't realised he was gone. That is a sad loss. Perhaps the new open eu
will bring him back.

This is accurate, though I humbly regret that I have had absolutely no time
to update the library to take advantage of updates in GTK. The library is
on GTK 2.4, where GTK itself is up to 2.10. The library still works, only
newer features are not included.
