I knew there had to be a way, and I finally found it. The command: charset G0 cp437 turns on the box drawing characters Dave, you can put them back into EE now! (That's CAPITAL G Zero , by the way.) I have added that line in my .bash_profile, so that whenever I log in, I automatically get the dos style character set. Irv _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/

I'll try to get them put back in. The old style is pretty much still there, just commented out. It would probably be best to map the characters to variables, and allow the user to decide which character set the wanted to use. This is a low priority item for me, but keep bugging me and I'll get around to it. Thanks! -- David Cuny
