ncurses(which is properly spelled in lowercase) is a library that you can use for color screen output. sure you could use ANSI codes, but there's so much more you can do in ncurses, and it bugs the heck out of you trying to figure out how to do it. do you really have to guess which one you should use? :) cklester at yahoo.com wrote: > What is nCurses? > > -JustCurious
