Hi All
Thanks for the help, I am using the 2.0.34 kernal at lest that is what 
it says it is.I do not get the EUPHORIA banner at all all I get is the 
prompt I am running in command line not x the exu file is listed under 
the right way I just read it wroung.Thanks for the help.BTW I am going 
to get a new Dist to try maybe zipslack it is only 34 meg download.

well, if there were problems ungzip'ing and untar'ing the Euphoria tree, 
better download a fresh copy of tar and gzip :) all i did was untar the 
tree and set my EUDIR variable and it was up and running. I was even 
able to copy only the files i wanted to my root account and set the 
environment variable and it worked, so i don't see why you'd have any 
probs, except if you're using a non-x86 architecture :) speaking of 
which, shouldn't robert compile some binaries for the other popular 
linux architectures like SPARC and PowerPC? of course, he'd have to get 
his hands on SPARC- and PowerPC-based computers, so that's kind of a 
setback...
