1. Can someone test this link?

Go to http://lan.cjbn.net:14894 using Internet
Explorer(other browsers don't seem to work).
After about 15 seconds, it should display
a few odd charactors and a message, copy and
paste that message here.

Both mozilla and iexplore time out.... no message found.
As for it not working in Firefox - The other browsers tend to be
kinda strict about the configuration and code being correct, whereas
iexplore - harlot that she is - tries to deal with just about anything.

That could be caused by the fact that the electronics
around here are dropping like flies! Soon after this
message was posted the router finnally died! So I went
to watch TV, when it turned on it was stuck on channel
1, which was displaying channel 17, and the voices didn't
match the show! I got a new wireless G router(for $7.99!),
so of course the server(actually it isn't really a server,
just an old desktop) died after I had put everything back.
It turned out is was full of cat hair and dust... Fixed now...
After all that and being up most of the night I am just getting
back online!

Try it now, and also please test

That is why Firefox and others don't work; the reply
is CJBN, not HTTP. IE seems to accept anything, so I
often use it to debug CJBN.

That URL worked in my Firefox, but not the earlier one.
