The reference for RichEdit controls at MSDN says some formatting attributes
are not rendered by the control, but there are in the CHARFORMAT2 structure so
as to comply with the TOM (text object model iirc).
Ergo MSWord, which is the reference for the TOM, uses another, proprietary
control. If you can scan the few dlls for method names and can figure the
argtypes out, you are done.
